During the year 2020, Fe-Male launched #ScreensDoNotProtect digital campaign, which was a massive national campaign that reached more than 9 million people locally and regionally.Â
Following its release, Fe-Male received tens of messages on its social media platforms, from women and girls reporting cases of online gender-based violence. We were always there to respond and support through providing them with protection tips and tools, reporting online perpetrators and following up on their cases with the Internal Security Forces. Â
“Rescued from Years of Online Blackmail: The Story of a Survivor” is one of the campaign’s success stories.
