The BBC has revealed its list of 100 inspiring and influential women from around the world for 2020. This year 100 Women is highlighting those who are leading change and making a difference during these turbulent times.
Hayat Mirshad co-director of Fe-Male, feminist activist, journalist and humanitarian, was one of these amazing women.
As described by BBC, “Hayat’s mission and ultimate goal is to always ensure that girls and women have access to justice, information, protection and human rights. She continues to spread her message through various platforms by organizing nationwide marches, and rallying the masses to challenge corrupt, patriarchal regimes and demand change.”
