New Milestone in Fe-Male’s fight against Period Poverty

As part of our fight against period poverty, Fe-Male’s co-director Aliaa Awada and Plan International influencing manager Rachel Challita met today, the 8th of July, the committee of women and children at the Lebanese parliament to discuss this alarming issue. 

Knowing that Fe-Male and Plan international started contributing to the national efforts led by national and INGOs to fight period poverty through distributing hygiene and sanitary kits across Lebanon, and focus on policy and campaigning work.
