A Regional Youth Forum for Promoting Social Inclusion and Eliminating Discrimination towards Migrant Workers in Beirut

Being a regional campaign that ran across four countries, it was chosen that “My Fair Home” regional youth forum takes place in Beirut under the supervision of International Labor Organization in coordination with Fe-Male.
The purpose of this two-days forum was to exchange information, ideas, and examine the challenges and learnings between the participating groups from Lebanon, Kuwait, Jordan and Qatar. It also aimed at expanding the youth networks in each of these countries to formulate one big youth network that would work on reforming laws governing migrant domestic workers’ rights and changing attitudes towards them.

This network will later on represent the support of future monitoring and collaboration to improve the situation of migrant domestic workers especially those who are women. By the end of the forum, youth of the different networks acquired a new comprehension of the different contexts and practices outside their countries.
