Young Voices Challenging Inequalities: First phase closing event

In partnership with UN Women and Save the Children International, Fe-Male concluded the nine-month activities of the “Young Voices Challenging Inequalities” project with a closing ceremony that gathered more than 60 youth, civil society representatives and the Feminist Clubs Members.

The ceremony was held at the end of an engaging and interactive learning/ training process from the North of Lebanon to its South, targeting young women and men, and a transformative experience for all the members. During the ceremony, the members of the clubs show-cased the artwork that they produced for the purpose of the project and shared their learnings and experiences they acquired throughout the project period. They explained how through their art, and having participated in the activities of the project, they were able to promote a better, non-stereotypical image of women, and to encourage gender-equal culture in their communities.
